Quorum Hotels & Resorts (QHR) was founded in 1987 as a joint venture between its senior executives and The Rank Group, Plc. The company was known as Rank Hotels North America until November 1994 when senior management purchased Rank's interest and introduced the Quorum name.

Based in Dallas, TX, Quorum is a hospitality management company owned and operated by experienced hoteliers. Our service platform includes:

Hotel Management – Quorum serves as the operator, our core services include the following: employ all staff members, negotiate with franchise or reservation systems and develop all budget and pricing strategies.

Asset Management – Quorum serves as ownership’s representative and manages the ‘chain operator’, (i.e. Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, etc.) We ensure that the operator performs its functions according to contractual obligations, the annual budget and investment goals.

Acquisition & Joint Venture Formation – Quorum will source, underwrite and present timely lodging investment opportunities for consideration.

Due Diligence – Investors, lenders and owners engage Quorum to consult in underwriting their lodging opportunities.

Quorum specializes in adding value and repositioning full-service hotels on behalf of our partners and clients. Our portfolio includes first class and luxury properties valued at over $850 million. Additionally, QHR currently serves as the advisor on hospitality investments valued at over $1 billion.
